June 2017 : On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Independence of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Honorary Consulate in Thessaloniki under the auspices of the Jordanian Embassy, celebrate at  the Military Officers' Club Thessaloniki, on Thursday June 1st 2017 the National Day.  H.E. the Ambassador Mr. Fawwaz Al Eitan honored the event by his presence.

June 2017:  Food for Good Festival | Jordan's participation for 3rd year with the collaboration of Jordanian Cityzens in Thessaloniki in the Food for Good festival with traditional arabic dishes. Food for Good is a charity event that supports with the profits of the festival, charity organizations based in Thessaloniki. This year we support SOS Children's Village Thessaloniki.

May 2016: The Cultural Association of Thessaloniki honors the country of Jordan

The presentation of Jordan's culture and sights to the members of the Cultural Association of Thessaloniki in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of Jordan, with main speakers Mrs Veleni, Director of the Archaological Museum of Thessaloniki, Mrs Chiotopoulou, journalist and Mr Kourakis, a specialist photographer.

December 2015: Consul's presentation to the MUN delegates

The honorary consul supported the preparation of the students' of the intercultural lyceum of Evosmos, Thessaloniki, and organized a special presentation of the country to familiarize the students with the culture and history of Jordan.

March 2015: Queen Rania meets international journalists and social media representatives 

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with a group of global journalists and social media representative visiting Jordan on a mega press trip hosted by the Ministry of Tourism in coordination with the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) at the Royal Automobile Museum in Amman.

Participation of a greek journalist delegation on the Mega Press Trip, invited by the Jordan Tourism Board. The delegation followed a five-day tour getting to know the beautiful Jordan, and realising that Jordan is a safe country, rifed with culture and history, and a place that every tourist deserves to visit.

December 2014: Greek - Jordanian Symposium

Co-organization of a symposium alongside with the Municipality of Thermaikos and its department of tourist development, aiming to promote Jordan as well as the Municipality of Thermaikos. The event included speeches and presentations, as well as a reception with local products.

January 2014: Official visit of the Holy Synod in Jordan

The first official visit of the Holy Synod of Greece in Jordan. The mission was leaded by the Archibishop of Dodoni, the Very Reverent Mr. Chrisostomos. During the visit, there were arranged meeting with the Ambassador of Greece in Jordan, Mrs Marinaki, the Minister of Tourism of Jordan, the Archibishop of Philadelfia, the Very Reverent Mr. Venediktos as well as with the delegates of official sectors.

October 2013: Event for "Amman Message"

Participation in the event “Amman Message” organized by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Jordan and the British Counsil. The event honoured with his presence the minister himself, Dr. Haeil Abdul Hafeez Daoud, accompanied by a 10-person delegation of Jordanian academics.

June 2013: Photography Exhibition in the Municipality of Veroia

Event co-organized with the Municipality of Veroia and the Metropolis of Veroia. A photography exhibition and a presentation of religious sites of Jordan took place during the event. The event was also honoured with the presence of the Archibishop of Veroia, the Very Reverent Panteleimon.

April 2013: Business delegation in Jordan

Greek Business Mission organized by the consulate in collaboration with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Jordan Business Association. During their visit, the businessmen took part in B2B meetings with Jordanian businessmen and there was a brief regarding investing opportunities in Jordan.

November 2012: Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia

Participation in Thessaloniki’s Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia with the collaboration of the Jordan Tourism Board. At the same time, speeches, presentations and an exhibition of photography took place aiming to promote tourism in Jordan. Our participation was awarded with the “Special Organizer’s Award” by the Management of the exhibition.
